How do I sign up
To sign up you, go to the home page and click sign up, then enter your details and upload the required documents, then click submit. You’ll then receive a verification email from us, open it and click on verify, you’ll then receive another acceptance email with a policy number
How do I claim
Should your laptop get damaged, just inform us and then send it to us through Paxi courier services (Pep Stores) and go to your nearest Game store to collect your brand new laptop worth R5000-00.
Your old laptop, should it get fixed, becomes the property of Varsity Connexions.
Should your laptop get lost or stolen, just go to your nearest police station and report it, then send us the affidavit, then go to your nearest Game stores to collect your brand new laptop.
Your old laptop, should it be recovered by law enforcement agencies, becomes the property of Varsity Connexions
How much will my premium be
You’re premium will be R89pm regardless of your risk profile. This is because you are a student and we understand that being a student you earn no income. That’s why we’ve designed this affordable package specifically for students
How do I pay my premium
Your premium will be collected straight from your bank account through a debit order on the day chosen by you, it is advisable to choose a date that is after your NSFAS/Fundza Lushaka/Bursary allowance comes through so that you can ensure that you have a minimum of R90 in your bank account
How much am I covered for
You are covered for R5000-00. That means should your laptop get damaged, it’ll be replaced by a brand new laptop of your choice worth R5000-00
What if the the new preferred laptop costs over R5000-00
We will only pay up to R5000-00 and you will have to pay the remaining balance
Will I pay access when claiming
A flat access rate of R999-00 will be required when making a claim
What am insured against
This is a comprehensive insurance covering damage, loss and theft.
Can my claim be denied
Your claim will be denied if your premiums are behind.
What to do if my debit order isn't successful
Should the debit order be unsuccessful, it is upon yourself to ensure that you make a cash deposit of R99 (R10 for bank charges) to us before the 10th of that month to avoid arrears and possible decline of your claim.
