Varsity Connexions was established solely for the purpose of offering laptop insurance services to university, college and Tvet students. We are the only insurance company specializing in this field thus delivering the most affordable laptop insurance for students. Any student registered at any South African private or public university, private college or Tvet college is eligible to get their laptop insured with us for a fixed premium of R89 per month.

If you have proof of registration from any South African private or public university or college then you automatically qualify for a premium of R89 per month.
Think of this, on average you’ll spend 3 years at university or college, if you pay R89pm for 3 years (36 months) it’ll be a total of R3 204. That’s nowhere near the R5000 for which you’re covered. And there’s more, every month you get a chance to win a R5000 fashion voucher at a clothing store of your choice, you automatically enter this competition by simply paying your premium. If you don’t miss a premium for 12 consecutive months then you’re automatically entered into a draw to win a CAR (VW Up!)
